Why this chakra?
This page rests on the (Anahata), the fourth of the seven centres. In the yogic tradition it is placed in the centre of the chest and is associated with tenderness and compassion, the place where service to others begins.
Each charity work here is service in action, and the tradition places the beginning of service in the heart. The world keeps its own picture; a quiet glow in the heart’s colour sits beside it.
This is how the yogic tradition describes the centres; it is a map for reflection, not a scientific or medical claim.
